Guard the Heart

The heart is the spring of all actions.
When it is clean, life flows clear.
When it is clouded, everything darkens.

“Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.”
(Proverbs 4:23)

Guarding the heart means choosing thoughts, not letting them choose us.

Reflection:
What enters daily through the eyes, words, or company kept?
Does it bring peace or poison?
